About Me:: Jay Rush Jennings was born in Toledo Ohio to a musically gifted family. His singing career began when a few members of his family formed a group called the Dotsons.
As Jay Rush grew older his life took a different turn to the streets, Being the product of a single mother and a fatherless household. He learned much of lifes lessons in the streets. The streets are credited for making him a man, So this is what he sings..He has pegged his own Genre of music called Street Soul.
Today this music is proof of a grown man who possesses a talent incomparable and a determination unstoppable. Jay Rush's music offers a gritty glimpse into his life's journey thus far, and he is unapologetic about his style. A clever blend of Hip-Hop and Rhythm & Blues reminiscent of the soulful legend Marvin Gaye combined with the Keep It Real Truths of Tupac Shakur..
