About Me:

Deejay RP fell in love with the art of Djing back in the days of 'Rapper's Delight' & 'Rock Box'. But he didn't start seriously Djing until about 1997 when he was called upon to provide music for a Single's event. And it's been on since then, He soon began Djing many local Wedding, Birthday parties, Youth events, & Outreaches all across the DC Metropolitan area (aka the DMV).

Since that time Deejay RP has been requested & performed with many local Artist: ASON aka Big Sonny aka Sonny Man / Riff-Raff / Prolific / Namasta / and also by the nationally touring latin artist Salamista Da Christo (SDC).

Deejay RP has been fortunate to perform on the same venues with Mary Mary / Deitrick Haddon / Virture / Canton Jones / The CrossMovement / Da T.R.U.T.H. / Pappa Sans / Lisa McClendon / Adraian Archie / Leon Timbo / Byron Cage / Brent Jones among others.

Deejay RP formerly DJ Tak-Nic has been the house DJ for the two of the DC area's Hottest Christian Venues: Psalms 117 & Christianhangsuites' First Sunday's.

As founder of the Holy Underground, a venue where many well known National, Regional & local unsigned, Holy Hip-Hop and R&P artist, are able to perform & perfect their craft & Ministry.
