The Strokes broke onto the scene in 2001 with their debut album. Coming from the indie rock movement they were instant fan favorites among tastemakers. They recently opened up to Spin Magazine at a photo shoot to explain what it was like getting back together after taking a hiatus between 2006 and 2011.
