Artist Spotlight: Young Flye Exclusive Interview

Young Flye is a triple threat: rapper, music producer, and football player. We got a chance to get to know more about the man behind the music in the interview below.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Creating music is my main passion and that allows me to be a recording artist, producer, and songwriter. My brand is “The Kid With Many Talents” and with that being said, I am very interested in taking my career to the next level as a musician and artist. I have also played college football; which I would like to continue to do while I am in school. I have two great careers going for me and my artistry allows me to try as much as I can while I am here on earth.

How did you first get involved in making music?
I tried learning how to play the piano since the 3rd grade and until this day, my talents with that are still limited. I have always had an ear for music and played most of my music by ear on the piano but as I grew, I was more interested in the production concept. One of my friends had introduced me to FL Studio; a beat making program for the PC. From then on music was like my second nature; my hobby; my everything, after school ended. I became familiar with other musical programs and technology but FL Studio stuck with me.

Which do you prefer, rapping or making beats?
I prefer both; I would rather not chose because with one comes the other. Each piece has its own creativity process which creates music and that’s what I love to do.

How would you describe your creative process?
At present, I am trying to go the world over from Techno to Pop to Hip Hop and R&B. I want to be that man of many talents and I want to be able to do it all.

Can you tell us about your previous music releases?
As of now, I have two freestyle videos on YouTube. My manger (G.R.O.G.L.ME) and my recording label (World Alliance Records) are working on getting my hit single “Like Me” distributed worldwide for the people to purchase. To further my progression I am working on more and more beats for my album and for artists.

What record label are you on and how'd you get your deal?
I am signed to World Alliance Records in which I was given the opportunity to join by one of the label's closest recruiters in their Atlanta office. After hearing about me, she set up a meeting with me and from then she knew that I had what it took and immediately referred me to the CEO of G.R.O.G.L.ME Management. Then my music was forwarded over to the executives of World Alliance Records and the rest is history.

Let us know what you've got coming out next.
I am working on my first official video for the song “Like Me” that will be on my album. I do not have an exact date of the release yet, but I will keep you notified of its release date.
